Before Command Post
Before we had Contractors Command Post we had to tie various tracking and control systems together to try and organize information as it progressed through our organization from a prospect to a completed job and though the warranty period. Most of the time it was necessary to look up information in the job book causing even more confusion and time delay.
Implementing Command Post
When we heard of Contractors Command Post we were immediately interested in the possibility that it might meet our needs for organization and data control.
We purchased the software and began to implement it utilizing the training and customer support included with Command Post. Pacific Datavision Inc. provided the training and follow-up that met our needs.
After Command Post
With just a little time spent updating our job information, not only does it allow us to track our jobs, but we have at our fingertips reports breaking out our business in such a way that we can analyze our profit margin contribution based on Company Division, Scope of Business, Market Segment or Project Acquisition Type.
We have been using Contractors Command Post to track our jobs and our profits for about a year now and have found it quite effective. It has allowed us to have a central resource point at each computer terminal as well as printed information to distribute that gives up to date data on each project as it flows through our system from a prospective lead, through the bidding process and then clear through to the delivery and warranty stage of the jobs.
Overall, Contractors Command Post was the wisest software decision I ever made, there is simply nothing like it.
